Lending a Helping Hand
I strongly believe in making time to give back. I’ve had the opportunity to explore many philanthropic activities at the IS Ruhr, which I’ve outlined below along with my role in each.
EVENTS COORDINATOR
EXECUTIVE PTA MEMBER
For the last 3.5 years, I volunteer at the International School Ruhr, as an executive member of the PTA committee and the events coordinator for the international elementary school. As part of all positions, I organize and execute school events throughout the year, some of which range from small groups to 200+ multi-cultural participants.
ART PROJECTS ASSISTANCE,
SUBSTITUTED ART TEACHER
Over the past 3 years, I have been volunteering at the International School Ruhr and involved in all age groups (3-18 years old). I have been assisting in a variety of art classes projects , teaching lessons on Jewish celebrations and traditions, and I also served several times as a substitute teacher in art classes (in all age groups)
IN ADDITION
I also serve the role of 2 classes representative and welcoming member for new families.
